Springy is a simple to use, yet powerful archiving and compression utility for Mac OS X. Springy integrates seamlessly with the Finder and includes some very useful features. All archiving tasks can be done via Drag and Drop or through Springy's Finder contextual menu.

Springy supports the following file types: ZIP, TAR, DMG, ISO, GZIP, BZIP2, Unix Compress, RAR, SIT, JAR, WAR, EAR... Support for more types is planned for future releases.

What's new in this version:
- Fixed browsing of archive or disk image contents from Contextual Menu plug-in in Leopard.
- Fixed issue with text fields for password and password confirmation when creating encrypted - disk image in the application in Leopard.
- Fixed premature closing of disk image browse window before closing of the image was finished in Leopard.
- Fixed quitting of the application if there was at least one open window showing archive contents in Leopard.
- Fixed crashing when working with some RAR archives in Leopard.

You can enjoy almost its full functionality for free, it will never expire and it won't nag you with splash screens and reminders to register.
